Talk to explore videos of indigenous peoples

Cultural geographer Laurel Smith will discuss "Mediating Indigenous Geographies" at 3:30 p.m. Monday, March 4, in room 207 Noble Research Center.

Smith, an assistant professor of geography and honors at the University of Oklahoma, studies video representations of Indigenous peoples. Her research includes a four-year study of video production by, with and for indigenous peoples and organizations in southern Mexico.
