Free recital featuring faculty saxophonist and guest artists

OSU's music faculty takes center stage for faculty recitals starting with Dr. Jeffrey Loeffert and friends on the saxophone Friday, Aug. 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Seretean Center for the Performing Arts.

The free recital will feature Loeffert throughout as well as guest performances from McKenzie Patterson, soprano, Webster University; Geoffrey Deibel, saxophone, Wichita State University; Jonathan Nichol, saxophone, University of Oklahoma, and Pi-Ju Chiang from OSU on the piano.

The program will consists of works by Claude Debussy, Astor Piazzolla, Lori Laitman, Takuma Itoh, and Barry Cockcroft, as well as one of Loeffert's own compositions.
