Students pursuing careers in healthcare or law have a new place to call home.
Pre-Professional Health & Law Support Services has officially moved to Legacy Hall, bringing expanded student spaces, enhanced resources and exciting new opportunities for students preparing for professional school.
Whether you're interested in medicine, veterinary medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, physician assistant studies, physical therapy, occupational therapy, optometry, law, or another healthcare or legal profession, their office is here to help students succeed — from exploring career options to submitting a professional school application.
The new location was designed with students in mind. In addition to one-on-one advising, Legacy Hall now offers expanded spaces for studying, collaborating with classmates, attending workshops, preparing for interviews, and connecting with other students pursuing similar career goals.
One of the biggest misconceptions about pre-health and pre-law is that you have to major in a specific field. The truth is, students from every major and every college at Oklahoma State University can pursue professional school. Whether you're studying biology, psychology, agricultural sciences, business, engineering, education, arts, or another discipline, their advisors can help you develop a personalized plan that aligns with your goals.
As interest in healthcare and legal careers continues to grow, so does their office. The office is expanding its advising team in the near future, allowing it to serve more students while introducing additional programs, resources, and events designed to help you become a competitive applicant.
Whether you're a first-year student just beginning to explore career options or an upperclassman preparing your professional school applications or even an alumni, it's never too early — or too late — to connect.
