The Fall 2026 Cowboy Welcome has officially wrapped up, closing out a week-and-a-half-long celebration of Oklahoma State University traditions, campus life and community.

Campus Life, alongside dedicated campus partners from across the university, helped welcome 4,714 incoming students to their new home, while also welcoming back returning Cowboys.

From the incredible turnout at the Cowboy Kickoff to the annual class photo on the field at Boone Pickens Stadium, the Cowboy spirit was unmatched throughout the welcome event.

A highlight of this year’s Cowboy Welcome was the roll-out of Cowboy Central, OSU’s new student involvement hub. The platform provided students with a centralized place to view the Cowboy Welcome schedule, create personalized schedules and enjoy a seamless check-in process at various events.

The Parent and Family Philanthropy Council supported Cowboy Welcome and invested in creating meaningful experiences for OSU students and families.

By the numbers, this fall’s Cowboy Welcome saw:

• 20,000+ student check-ins across all welcome activities.

• 106 unique events hosted by campus departments and student organizations.

• 53.3% of students participated in two or more events

"Cowboy Welcome is the ultimate kickoff, but it's just the first chapter of the OSU experience," said Dr. Aleigha Mariott, assistant vice president of Campus Life. "We loved seeing students use Cowboy Central to map out their first few weeks on campus. Moving forward, we encourage everyone to keep logging into the Cowboy Central app to track their own involvement journey, discover new student organizations, and never miss out on what's happening around campus."

Students who have yet to activate their profiles can log into Cowboy Central using their O-Key credentials or download the app on iOS and Android.
