Oklahoma State University Libraries is welcoming  New York Times bestselling author C.J. Box for its latest installment of the H. Louise & H.E. "Ed" Cobb Speaker Series.

Box is the author of more than 30 books translated into over 20 languages. He is also an executive producer on “Big Sky” on ABC and “Joe Pickett” on Paramount+, both of which are based on his books.

A Wyoming native, Box draws inspiration from his upbringing. He has worked as a ranch hand, surveyor, fishing guide and newspaper reporter. A passionate outdoorsman, Box is bringing his Western perspectives and experiences to OSU for an exciting conversation and engaging event.

The H. Louise & H.E. "Ed" Cobb Speaker Series was established in 1991. It is the primary fundraising event by the Friends of the OSU Library, the Library’s official donor board. The event recognizes an outstanding body of work that has exerted influence and provided insight for OSU and American society at large. Attendees are served a formal dinner and engage in an author talk, Q&A session and book signing with the speaker. This event is made possible each year by the ongoing generosity of the Cobb family.
