Hundreds packed Gallagher-Iba Arena on Friday to celebrate the inauguration of Oklahoma State University President Kayse Shrum. The State of Orange event was attended by state and tribal dignitaries along with the Cowboy faithful.
Poli Sci and Philosophy double major Payton Dougherty named an Outstanding Senior

Payton Dougherty of Yukon, Oklahoma, was recently recognized as one of 22 Outstanding Seniors for 2020-21 by the OSU Alumni Association. The Political Science (Honors) and Philosophy double major also minored in Law and Legal Studies and got involved with organizations ideal for someone with her eyes set on law school.

Some of Physiology major Johna Pulliam’s favorite things about OSU prior to the pandemic were sporting events and learning in person with professors and classmates, so COVID-19 restrictions made for some difficult adjustments. But the Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, native said the past year has also been full of uniquely positive opportunities, too.
