Kirstin Sylvester originally planned to work in medicine but after taking a child psychology course at her undergraduate institution she realized she was better suited to provide therapy services. Sylvester chose to pursue her Ph.D. at Oklahoma
The Coweta, Oklahoma, native and Wentz Research Scholar is back on campus this fall and is leading a qualitative research study to examine the under-utilization of food assistance programs on the Stillwater campus and within the community.
