Blew heads scholarships and financial aid at OSU

Wednesday, July 2, 2014

Chad M. Blew

Chad M. Blew of Stillwater is Oklahoma State University’s new director of scholarships and financial aid. He was appointed to the position during the June 20 meeting of the Oklahoma State University/A&M Board of Regents.

"OSU distributes in excess of $317 million in total aid each year, and Chad's experience, as well as his familiarity with the OSU landscape, makes him ideal for this work," said Kyle Wray, vice president for enrollment and marketing at OSU. "Oklahoma State is fortunate to have Chad and I look forward to many years of service with him."

An alumnus with a bachelor's degree in psychology, Blew served as the community service work-study coordinator at OSU from 2002 until 2006, when he was appointed to the assistant director position in the office of scholarships and financial aid in April 2006.

Prior to his employment at OSU, Blew worked with the Central Oklahoma Community Action Agency in Shawnee and Stillwater from 1995 to 2002. He first served as a field representative for the agency, and then coordinator for Payne County, before working as assistant director and interim executive director in Shawnee.
