OSU-Oklahoma City Hires New VP of Business and Industry

(OKLAHOMA CITY) - OSU-Oklahoma City recently hired Dr. Mac McCrory as the Vice President of Business and Industry Relations.  The position was added to the campus administration in order to expand the institution’s leadership role in business and industry training and economic development.

McCrory comes to OSU-OKC from the OSU-Stillwater campus where he served as the director of the Seretean Wellness Center.  Under his leadership, the Center grew from a staff of six full-time and three graduate students to 21 full-time staff members, six graduate/intern students, and 50 part-time student employees; and 17 programs at an annual budget of $1.5 million and seven grants/contracts with a total annual budget of $2.5 million.

McCrory received his Doctor of Education in Health Science from Oklahoma State University in 1980, where he graduated with honors and is a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honorary Scholastic Fraternity.

His responsibilities at OSU-OKC will include overseeing the campus’ economic development strategic plan, working with academic programs’ business and industry advisory boards, design and implementation of cutting-edge training programs and establishing a business and industry collaboration center.
