Wray named associate VP for Enrollment Management and Marketing

(STILLWATER, Okla., March 6, 2009) -- Kyle Wray, director of University Marketing
at Oklahoma State University since 2004, has been named associate vice president for
Enrollment Management and Marketing.
His appointment was approved during the March 6 Oklahoma State University/A&M Board
of Regents meeting held in Stillwater.
Wray was appointed as Special Assistant to the President last October and assumed
oversight of Enrollment Management. He has implemented several changes in the recruitment
process for prospective students. Under his direction, OSU has seen a substantial
improvement in the number of applications for Fall ‘09 admission.
He received his B.S. degree in history and political science from Oklahoma Christian
University, and his M.A. degree in educational technology and leadership from Pepperdine
University.
Prior to coming to OSU, Wray served as vice president for Enrollment and Marketing
at Oklahoma Christian University from 1999-2004, and was director of Admissions from
1996-1999. He has been a senior marketing consultant for Advantage Marketing since
2000.
At Oklahoma State University, Wray was presented with the President’s Service Award
in 2005. In 2008 he was recognized by Oklahoma Magazine as a “Top 40 under 40” executive
in the state.
In 2001, he was appointed by Gov. Frank Keating to a task force for higher education
in relation to financial aid and state grants and scholarships.
