College of Education and Human Sciences represented at Three-Minute Thesis University Finals competition

The 2023 College of Education and Human Sciences Three-Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition was held on Monday, Oct. 2 in Jorns Hall. Developed by the University of Queensland in 2008, 3MT® is an opportunity for graduate students to showcase their research interests and presentation skills in a short three-minute verbal presentation, with support of a single unanimated PowerPoint slide.

Veterinary Graduate Students present their Research in 3 Minutes

Several veterinary graduate students recently participated in the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine’s 3 Minute Thesis Competition. Using one slide and no research jargon, these young researchers summarized their work in just three minutes in front of their colleagues and a panel of judges.

Laurie Thompson wins college 3MT competition

The breadth of research and creativity in the College of Education, Health and Aviation and the College of Human Sciences was on display at the 2019 3MT (Three-Minute Thesis) competition on October 21. Four graduate students walked away with a cash prize, including winner Laurie Thompson, a master’s student in nutritional sciences.
