Husen remembered for her kindness, compassion on somber anniversary

A year after four people died in a shooting on the Saint Francis Hospital campus, friends and family remember Dr. Stephanie Husen's kindness, generosity, optimism and caring nature.
Dr. Stephanie Husen was a sports and internal medicine specialist with Warren Clinic and an OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine class of 2004 alumna. Husen was one of four people killed in a mass shooting on June 1, 2022, in the Natalie Building on the Saint Francis Hospital campus in Tulsa.

Blankenship, Bray named OSU-COM deans

During its regular meeting Sept. 9, the OSU A&M Board of Regents approved the removal of the interim title for the deans of the OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine and OSU-COM at the Cherokee Nation. Dr. Dennis Blankenship is now dean of OSU-COM and Dr. Natasha Bray is now dean of OSU-COM at the Cherokee Nation. Both had served as interim deans since June 2021.

LaFleur is studying the neural anatomy of prehistoric crocodylia, the ancient ancestors of modern day crocodiles and alligators. He also serves as the graduate student representative on the OSU-CHS Alumni Board, vice president of the Biomedical Sciences Graduate Student Association and national liaison for the Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science.
