The treatment of the invasive lily species Yellow Floating Heart at Lake Carl Blackwell was largely successful, according to OSU aquatic ecologists. The presence of Yellow Floating Heart was reduced by 96 percent, to just three acres of the plant visible.

Southwood Landscape and Garden Center is making a $25,000 donation toward Oklahoma State University’s new Greenhouse Learning Center. Combined with a gift of $25,000 from co-founder Joe Schulte, the $50,000 total gift will contribute to the learning center’s state-of-the-art nursery, which will be named the Southwood Landscape & Nursery Prep Area.
