Two Oklahoma State University College of Education, Health and Aviation faculty members were recently appointed co-executive directors for the School of Science and Mathematics Association (SSMA). Dr. Toni Ivey, associate professor of science education, and Dr. Stephanie Hathcock, assistant professor of science education, began their five-year term on July 1, 2019.

The Open Education Group has named Kathy Essmiller a 2019-2020 Open Educational Resource (OER) Research Fellow. Essmiller is one of 24 scholars selected this year, and is the second OSU researcher to participate in the program.

Fifty programs were selected based on quality of education, type of classes provided, faculty strength, nursing school awards and rankings and reputation.
