OSU offers Summer Art Academy

For the fourth consecutive year, Oklahoma State University is hosting a Summer Art Academy for students between the ages of 13 and 18. The Department of Art, Graphic Design and Art History has put together a schedule that allows participants to attend classes under the guidance of master instructors. The course offerings, including the early bird rate:

Intro to Watercolor taught by Teresa Holder, May 29-June 1, $150
Digital Photography taught by Mark Wittig, June 4-8, $250
Video Animation taught by Justen Renyer, June 11-15, $250
Introduction to Pottery taught by Buck Dollarhide, June 18-22, $175
Impressionism and Post Impressionism taught by Rebecca Brienen, July 2-3 and 5-6, free

The free course on impressionism and post impressionism will meet from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The other classes are all scheduled for 1-5 p.m. The early bird deadline for each course is two weeks before the first session. Registration after that date will incur an additional $25 fee.

Students may enroll in any combination of classes. Most materials are included in the registration fee.
