2013-2014 Speaker Series announced for Tulsa and Oklahoma City

Rick Webb and Ann Rhoades are a couple of the renowned speakers who will be visiting Tulsa and Oklahoma City for the 2013-2014 Tulsa Business Forums and Executive Management Briefings, presented annually by Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business along with corporate sponsors.
Each year, these speaker series showcase prominent business, political and world leaders, authors and policymakers to the Tulsa and Oklahoma City business communities. Both the Tulsa Business Forums and Executive Management Briefings are coordinated by the Center for Executive and Professional Development at OSU.
Rick Webb, senior vice president of global business processes for Walmart, is scheduled to speak Tuesday, Oct. 29. He will address the Tulsa business community at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Tulsa.
Ann Rhoades, current board member and former executive vice president of JetBlue Airways, will speak Thursday, Nov. 7. She will deliver her speech at the National Cowboy and Western
Heritage Museum.
“We have another great slate of speakers scheduled for the Executive Management Briefings and the Tulsa Business Forums,” said Ken Eastman, interim dean of the Spears School of Business. “The Tulsa and Oklahoma City areas are very important to us and these speakers give us a great opportunity to engage our many friends and alums in these locations. We at the Spears School take great pride in being able to bring such outstanding individuals to Oklahoma.”

Feb. 6, 2014 – Ben Stein, financial expert, economist and author, 12-1:30 p.m., Renaissance Hotel
April 2, 2014 – Jim Clifton, chairman and CEO of Gallup Inc., 12-2:15 p.m., Hyatt Regency Hotel
Executive Management Briefings in Oklahoma City
Nov. 7, 2013 – Ann Rhoades, current board member and former executive vice president of JetBlue Airways, 12-1:30 p.m., National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum
Feb. 5, 2014 – Ben Stein, financial expert, economist and author, 12-1:30 p.m., National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum
April 1, 2014 – Jim Clifton, chairman and CEO of Gallup Inc., 12-2:15 p.m., National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum
Registration is $250 for each series. Costs for individual presentations are $85 per seat.
