Take a trip to Greece next September with OSU

Inaugural trip to GreeceOklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business offers OSU alumni and friends an opportunity to travel to Greece on Sept. 3-13, 2015. In this unique travel experience, visitors will experience Athens, Mykonos, Delos and Santorini. The trip will include visiting the National Archeological Museum, a tour of the Acropolis, viewing Athens from the vantage point of Lycabettus Hill, ferry trips to Hydra and Santorini, walking along an active volcano at Santorini and a tasting of wines produced by Santorini Vineyards. Socrates said, “Wisdom begins in wonder” and this trip will allow travelers to gain wisdom from the historic site of Greece while reconnecting with old friends and making new friends in an ancient and beautiful part of the world Jim Pappas, head of the Department of Management and associate professor at the Spears School, will be leading the trip. He has taken OSU students on previous trips to Greece and plans to expand this trip with a travel learn trip for alumni and friends. “I would like to invite OSU alumni and friends to join me to visit Greece and learn about this fascinating country,” Pappas said. “Greece sits squarely in the middle of world history and straddles cultures of the East and West. This is a unique opportunity to explore Greece, its culture, and heritage while being surrounded by friends.” The trip will be held Sept. 3-13, 2015, and the fee is $4,150 per person plus international airfare. A discounted fee of $3,950 per person will be offered to participants who register before Feb. 15, 2015.
