A recent study shows that nearly 92 percent of graduates from the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University are finding jobs within three months after earning their degree.
Spears School undergraduates report an average salary of $47,435 and a median salary of $45,000. Top companies recruiting Spears School graduates include Cerner, Hilti, Phillips 66, Verizon, Ernst and Young, and Paycom. While 91.9 percent of seniors seeking jobs were employed after graduation, an additional 9 percent of graduating seniors will continue their education in various graduate programs.
“Spears School faculty and staff work diligently to ensure that all of our students have opportunities upon graduation. It is reassuring to know that students are taking advantage of the resources we provide, and placing well,” said Karen Flaherty, associate dean for undergraduate programs in the Spears School.
Reports are based on available data representing approximately 75 percent of seniors graduating this past spring.
High placement rates for Spears School of Business graduates stem from an emphasis on rigorous business curriculum combined with a commitment to career readiness. The Spears School’s Eastin Center for Talent Development provides students with the resources to develop professionalism, business etiquette, and a broad worldview.
