Oklahoma State University’s online MBA program continues to receive national recognition for its commitment to providing an affordable quality education. OSU’s online MBA was recently selected as one of the top 40 in the United States in rankings by Affordable Colleges Online.
The Best Online MBA Program: 2015 rankings are based on the best combinations of quality, cost and student support by collecting and analyzing date from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the schools. OSU is No. 32 in the 2015 rankings.
“When it comes to online learning, these schools are at the top of their game,” said Dan Schuessler, founder and CEO of Affordable Colleges Online. “They appeal to prospective business students and working professionals because they provide the same academic excellence in their online programs as their campus courses.”
It’s not the first time OSU’s online MBA program has been recognized. In January, the OSU online MBA program was selected No. 41 and the graduate business programs (excluding the MBA) were ranked No. 46 in the 2015 U.S. News & World Report’s Best Online Education Program rankings. It is the second time since U.S. News began numerically ranking online programs three years ago that the OSU Spears School of Business has been selected as one of the nation’s top schools for online business education.
Also, a story by U.S. News & World Report in 2013 showed that OSU was one of only four schools in the United States in which 100 percent of the full-time MBA students received jobs within three months after graduation.
The number of schools offering fully online degree programs has nearly doubled over the last decade, and online enrollments continue to make up an increasing proportion of all enrollments in higher education.
“As the demand for distance learning continues to rise, we’re seeing more and more institutions incorporate online learning into their curricula,” said Schuessler. “We want to recognize these schools for their drive for innovation in higher education and their success in expanding their high-quality programs to the online learning environment.”
