The Beta Alpha Psi Chapter at Oklahoma State University has been recognized internationally as a Superior Chapter by the Beta Alpha Psi Board of Directors.

The Spears School of Business was notified by the president of the Beta Alpha Psi that the Chi Chapter and its faculty advisor Monika Turek, instructor in the School of Accounting, were congratulated on their successful efforts during the 2014-2015 academic year.

“We are again pleased that our students and Beta Alpha Psi have been recognized for their efforts. Monika Turek does an amazing job leading Beta Alpha Psi at Oklahoma State and we appreciate her efforts to provide students, alumni, and recruiters opportunities to be part of such a special organization,” said Bob Cornell, head of the School of Accounting.

“Under the leadership of Monika Turek, the Chi Chapter has far exceeded the baseline requirements of Beta Alpha Psi and has excelled in the areas of academics, professionalism, and leadership. As faculty advisor for the chapter, Monika Turek has provided an invaluable service to your academic institution,” said Shawn Harter, Beta Alpha Psi President.

“We have an outstanding group of students that work hard every year to make Beta Alpha Psi better and better. I couldn’t be more proud of them,” said Monika Turek, instructor in the School of Accounting and advisor for the Beta Alpha Psi Chi Chapter.

As a Superior Chapter, the OSU group will receive $275 sponsored by the KPMG Foundation.
