Oklahoma State University alumni and friends have an opportunity to visit Greece on
Sept. 3-13, 2015 through the OSU Spears School of Business.
In this unique experience, visitors will travel to Athens, Mykonos, Delos and Santorini.
The trip will include visiting the stadium where the first Olympic Games took place,
a tour of the Acropolis, viewing Athens from the vantage point of Lycabettus Hill,
ferry trips to Hydra and Santorini, touring the ancient island of Delos, sailing to
an active volcano at Santorini, and tasting wines produced by Santorini Vineyards.
Travelers will have the opportunity to reconnect with old friends and make new friends
all while visiting the beautiful sites of historic Greece.
Jim Pappas, head of the Department of Management and associate professor, will be
leading the trip. He has taken OSU students on previous trips to Greece and plans
to expand this trip with a travel learn trip for alumni and friends.
“I would like to invite OSU alumni and friends to join me to visit Greece and learn
about this fascinating country,” Pappas said. “Greece sits squarely in the middle
of world history and straddles cultures of the East and West. This is a unique opportunity
to explore Greece, its culture, and heritage while being surrounded by friends.”
The trip is being offered at a discounted fee of $3,600 per person plus international
airfare to participants who register before Feb. 15, 2015. The fee includes 5-star
hotel stays, local transportation, sightseeing fees, breakfast and select dinners.
