Curran also emphasized his excitement to reap the benefits from attaining a master’s degree.

“This will definitely set me up to move beyond Captain and into Major or Lieutenant Colonel or something along those lines,” said Curran. “It’s definitely something good to have on your résumé.”

Karush Jaggi, MSMIS recipient, attended OSU on campus and had a positive learning experience. He began working at Zions Bank Corporation this fall.

“It was really tremendous,” said Jaggi. “I have started my work in Salt Lake City working as a data scientist. The stuff that I learned here [at OSU] helped me a lot.”

Ramesh Sharda, vice dean of Watson Graduate School of Management, was pleased to participate in the hooding ceremony.

“We were pleased to celebrate accomplishments of our MS and PhD students,” said Sharda. “We were especially pleased to welcome several distance learning MBA graduates who visited OSU campus for the first time.”
