The 22nd Annual Executive Education Partnership Program will take place in Stillwater.

The Executive Education Partnership Program will be held July 25-29  at the Oklahoma State University Alumni Center in Stillwater.

Oklahoma State University, the University of Oklahoma and the Executive Education Partnership Program partner organizations are teaming up for the 22nd year to provide this week-long educational program. This business/academic partnership allows bridges to be built between the educational and business communities while being presented by expert faculty in their respective fields.

The Executive Education Partner Program offers an educational experience designed to improve decision-making and critical-thinking skills. It is an opportunity to exchange ideas and learn new skills in an interactive setting. This program pools resources from OSU and OU to deliver a top-excellence program with an advisory board of 13 business members to ensure relevance and quality.

“The topics discussed are very important in business and life,” said Leland Meiser, general manager of the Tulsa division for Dolese Bros. Co., and a 2015 program participant. “What sends this program over the top is the passion of the professional speakers. I will be a better leader, businessman, and person from participating in the Executive Education Program.”

Not only does this program provide state-of-the-art sessions on various topics such as “Building Powerful Communication Skills,” “Innovative Thinking” and “The Essence of Leadership: Strategies for Influencing Others,” but it also has an intense business simulation feature that will enhance your decision making and teamwork proficiency. The simulation will enrich your skills as a team leader, and the combination of concepts learned are skills you can take back with you and apply immediately to your organizational setting.

“This program was really fantastic,” said Diana Bittle, program participant in 2015 and vice president of software solutions with American Fidelity Assurance Company.  “The level of enthusiasm and engagement from the instructors was overwhelming. The sessions were fantastic and the business simulation exercise was fun and rewarding. This program will help me in my leadership career for years to come.”

The Executive Education Partnership is designed to fulfill several objectives: improving executives’ analytical and decision-making skills, broadening their roles as managers, and increasing their ability to work together effectively in teams.

“The materials were original, not just a re-hash of the same old leadership topics,” said Scott Mitchell, general manager at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation and 2015 program participant.

Registration for the week-long program is $4,750 and includes tuition, materials and meals. Participants may register online at http://cepd.okstate.edu/openenrollment/eepp/.
