“Cisco is thrilled to be both a sponsor and a participant at the OSU Cyber Security Conference," said Monique Morrow. “Security is everyone’s responsibility cross organizationally, and instilling that mindset must be a priority. Bringing people together to have various dialogues on cybersecurity and its implications to organizations has been a great opportunity at this conference.
“With the increasing risk and sophistication of cyber attacks, there is a continuous need to adapt business strategy to protect sensitive business and personal information. Participants will learn to understand the risks organizations face, define the nature and motivation of different threats – fraud, theft, extortion, national security and terrorism – and develop a cyber security strategy for their business.”
Corporate sponsors include gold sponsors, American Fidelity, Cox Communications, and Dolese; silver sponsors, CheckPoint Software Technologies, CISCO Systems, KOSU Radio, and OG&E. The Cyber Security Conference is sponsored by the Department of Management Science and Information Systems and the Center for Executive and Professional Development in the OSU Spears School of Business.
