‘Leadership the Amazon Way’ is next topic of OSU’s 2016-17 Tulsa Business Forums

John Rossman, author of "The Amazon Way" and former director of enterprise services at Amazon.com, will be the featured speaker as part of the 2016-17 Tulsa Business Forums Feb. 15.
Rossman’s luncheon presentation, “Leadership the Amazon Way,” is scheduled from 12-1:30 p.m. at the Renaissance Hotel in Tulsa as part of the Tulsa Business Forums, presented annually by Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business along with corporate sponsors. In addition, the Big Data Analytics Conference is also Feb. 15 at the Renaissance Hotel from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and includes the option to attend Rossman’s luncheon presentation.
Rossman is currently the managing director with Alvarez & Marsal. Through his work experience, he has become an expert on digital disruption and assisting his clients in building and executing new business models.
The Tulsa Business Forums speaker series is coordinated by OSU’s Center for Executive and Professional Development. The program brings in distinguished business leaders, authors and policymakers to speak to the Tulsa community.
Carly Fiorina, former chairman and CEO of Hewlett Packard and 2016 presidential candidate, was the first speaker at the 2016-17 Tulsa Business Forums in November.
Dr. Kyu Rhee, chief health officer of IBM, will be the third and final speaker in the 2016-17 Tulsa Business Forums. He will give his luncheon presentation, “Health Transformation in the Cognitive Era,” from 12-1:30 p.m. on March 28 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Tulsa.
