Nationally known health care expert Kyu Rhee will be the featured speaker for the final presentation in the 2016-17 Tulsa Business Forums, presented by Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business, along with corporate sponsors.

Rhee’s luncheon topic is “Health Transformation in the Cognitive Era,” from 12-1:30 p.m. March 28 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Tulsa.

Rhee was previously the chief public health officer at the Health Resources and Services Administration. He is currently the chief health officer at IBM with global responsibilities for Watson Health. He received his medical degree from the University of Southern California and his master’s degree in public policy from Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.

The Tulsa Business Forums speaker series is coordinated annually by OSU’s Center for Executive and Professional Development. The program brings in distinguished business leaders, authors and policymakers to speak to the Tulsa business community. In November, Carly Fiorina, former chairman and CEO of Hewlett Packard and 2016 presidential candidate, was the first speaker in the Tulsa Business Forums. John Rossman, author of “The Amazon Way” and current managing director with Alvarez & Marsal, was the second speaker in the forum series in February.

This forum will also attract an audience attending the OSU Predictive Medicine and Health Analytics Conference on March 28. Topics on this health care conference include Population Health Trends, Population Health Management, and Delivery of Health Care: Payers and Providers. Speakers include national and local experts. Attendees of this conference have the option of attending Rhee’s Tulsa Business Forums presentation.

Registration for Rhee’s presentation is $85. To register or for more information, visit https://cepd.okstate.edu/openenrollment/bss/tbf/ or contact Mandy McKinney, OSU Program Manager, at 405-744-5208 or 866-678-3933 or by email at mandy.mckinney@okstate.edu.
