Spears School of Business unveils names for Tulsa, Oklahoma City business speaker series

The 2018-2019 Tulsa Business Forums and Executive Management Briefings speaker series will feature presentations by Bozoma Saint John, Daniel Coyle and Frank Abagnale.

The series are sponsored by Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business, along with corporate sponsors. The Tulsa Business Forums and Executive Management Briefings (Oklahoma City) bring national business leaders to the Tulsa and Oklahoma City communities.

“These series are a great opportunity to hear and learn from the best of the best in the world,” said Ken Eastman, dean of the Spears School of Business. “This unique series offers Oklahomans a place to gain knowledge from national business leaders who have extraordinary experiences and invaluable expertise and wisdom.”

The schedule for the 2018-2019 speaker series is as follows:

Tulsa Business Forums

Nov. 7, 2018 – Bozoma Saint John, chief marketing officer for Endeavor and former chief branding officer for Uber; 8-9:30 a.m., Tulsa Southern Hills Marriott. Her question-and-answer session will include topics of “Brand Identity and the Importance of Disruption.”

Feb. 7, 2019 – Daniel Coyle, New York Times best-selling author; noon-1:30 p.m., Tulsa Downtown DoubleTree Hotel. His presentation will address “The Culture Code: The Secrets of Highly Successful Groups.”

April 10, 2019 – Frank Abagnale, renowned cybersecurity and fraud prevention expert and best-selling author and subject of “Catch Me If You Can;” 10-11:30 a.m., Tulsa Performing Arts Center. His presentation will be on the subject of “Catch Me if You Can.”

Executive Management Briefings (see Tulsa program for topic areas.)

Nov. 7, 2018 – Bozoma Saint John, chief marketing officer for Endeavor and former chief branding officer for Uber; noon-1:30 p.m., Embassy Suites in downtown Oklahoma City.

Feb. 6, 2019 – Daniel Coyle, New York Times best-selling author; noon-1:30 p.m., National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum.

April 9, 2019 – Frank Abagnale, renowned cyber security and fraud prevention expert and best-selling author and subject of “Catch Me If You Can;” 4-5:30 p.m., Cox Convention Center.

Series sponsorship opportunities are available for $5,000 and sponsor benefits include special events with the speakers and marketing and leadership development opportunities. Table sponsorships are available for $2,750.

Tickets can be purchased for the individual presentations at $85 for Bozoma Saint John or Daniel Coyle (breakfast or lunch included with ticket purchase) and $50 for Frank Abagnale’s presentation. Discounts are available for $40 per person for orders of 30 or more tickets for the Abagnale briefing.
