“The MBAA provides a conduit for students who want to get out there, be involved and network with alumni,” MBAA President Bill Pickering said.

Pickering and his cabinet have implemented many different initiatives over the past year to help involve students within the community, through small business outings and partnering with local Stillwater philanthropies.

Pickering will pass the torch to new president Brittany Laub on Oct. 16.

“The new MBAA Officer team is an incredibly motivated cabinet, and Brittany is an incredibly motivated leader and she will push her team to do as much as they can in their positions,” Pickering said.

“The whole group has a lot of great ideas based on the roles we have,” Laub said. “I’m really excited to get together as a group and makes things happen.”

She and her team want to make the Professional Development aspect of the MBA program more experiential for the students. Laub will also be stepping in to serve as the MBA Advisory Board secretary, where she will be the new liaison between faculty, alumni and the students.

Every MBA student is encouraged to be involved in the Association.
