The Spears School of Business will host a three-part Contract Management webinar series from September through October. The webinar series will give attendees an introduction to the essential skills needed to be a successful government contract manager.

“Contract management is an exciting and intricate career field with many opportunities,” said Sara Brown, multi-functional contract manager for Lockheed Martin and adjunct instructor in Spears Business. “This webinar series is designed to help those who are just entering the field, business professionals who are wanting to make a move to contract management and small business executives who are trying to break into government contracts.”

The Contract Management webinar topics are:

Introduction to Government Contract Management, Sept. 2, 2-3:15 p.m.
Ethical Considerations in Contract Management, Sept. 30, 2-3:15 p.m.
Contract Life Cycle, Oct. 21, 2-3:15 p.m.

Brown and Matt Jeffery, senior contract manager at CACI International, Inc., and adjunct instructor in Spears Business, will lead the webinar series. Both are industry experts with 15-plus years of contract management knowledge and experience.
