Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business rose 22 spots to No. 76 in the "U.S. News & World Report" ranking of the best full-time MBA programs, the organization announced Tuesday. In addition, the Spears Business part-time MBA remained among the nation’s top 60.

The historic spring semester continues for the Spears Business Watson Graduate School of Management. In February, "U.S. News & World Report" ranked OSU’s online MBA No. 16 nationally, marking a gradual 24-position jump over the last five years. Additionally, OSU’s online MBA in business analytics tied for No. 20 in the rankings, and OSU tied at No. 14 for online MBA programs for veterans.

“It’s an honor to continually see outside sources recognize the quality and amazing growth of our three MBA programs and the entire Watson Graduate School of Management,” said Dr. Matt Bowler, OSU’s MBA director. “This is a direct result of the incredible work of our faculty, staff and students. We will continue to scale our programs while maintaining the quality and 'Power of Personal' that defines the Spears School of Business.”

OSU offers three distinct MBA programs designed to meet the needs of students and professionals all over the world. OSU’s in-person MBA experience is based in Stillwater, while the professional MBA is a flexible, hybrid program based in Tulsa. The Spears Business online MBA is among the nation’s best and soared to No. 16 in the "U.S. News & World Report" rankings.

In Tuesday’s rankings release, the Spears Business full-time MBA was tied at No. 76 among 236 ranked programs by "U.S. News & World Report." OSU’s part-time MBA program was tied at No. 60 of 299 colleges and universities surveyed, which is fifth among Big 12 Conference schools. OSU’s full-time and part-time MBA programs were tops in the state of Oklahoma.

“The recent rankings are a testament to the relentless pursuit of excellence within our MBA program and the Watson Graduate School of Management,” said Dr. Jim Payne, dean of the Spears School of Business. “This achievement underscores our unwavering commitment to fostering personal growth and development in our students. The 'Power of Personal' is not just a motto; it’s the cornerstone of our approach to education that empowers OSU graduates to thrive in a dynamic business landscape. It ensures that our graduates are well-equipped to make a meaningful impact in their careers and beyond.”

"U.S. News & World Report" annually ranks graduate schools based on expert opinions about program excellence and statistical indicators that measure the quality of a school’s faculty, research and students.
