Alumni Association student group adds to awards

For the second year in a row, an Oklahoma State University student group has walked away with top programming honors awarded at the Association of Student Advancement Programs International Network Convention.

This year’s convention was held Aug. 3-6 in San Antonio. The OSU Student Alumni Board was awarded the Silver Award for its high school Leadership Conference and Legacy Day 2006, “Big Hair, Guitars and Leadership.”

In 2005, the Homecoming Steering Committee was awarded the Gold Award for the Homecoming philanthropy “Cowboys for the Cure.” Student Alumni Board and the Homecoming Steering Committee are leadership organizations sponsored by the OSU Alumni Association.
