Malcolm Gladwell kicks-off this year’s Oklahoma State University business speaker series, known as Executive Management Briefings, by interpreting and applying groundbreaking research for business on Tuesday, Dec. 5, at the Cox Business Center in Oklahoma City from 10 – 11:30 a.m.

Gladwell, a staff writer for “The New Yorker” since 1996, has a gift for making research understandable and valuable for business. In 2005, he was named one of “Time” magazines most 100 Influential People. The author of two “New York Times” #1 bestsellers including “The Tipping Point” and “Blink,” Gladwell uses the books to offer specific insights into creating positive ideas and behavior to analyzing first impressions and how they can be mastered for successful decision making.

Gladwell’s presentation will be followed by a luncheon. He is the first of three speakers for this year’s Executive Management Briefings, which will also include NBC’s Tim Russert (Jan. 29) and Edward Whitacre, Jr. chairman and CEO, AT&T (April 5).
