OSU alumnus to head international body

Greg W. Henderson, an Oklahoma State University mechanical engineering graduate, has been elected 2006 president of SAE International, the Society of Automotive Engineers.

The premier organization dedicated to advancing mobility engineering worldwide includes more than 90,000 members in 97 countries. Henderson, an engineering director at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company in Fort Worth, Texas, is a 1999 recipient of SAE’s most distinguished award, the SAE Medal of Honor. In 1986, he was the first SAE White House Fellow in President Ronald Reagan’s Office of Science and Technology Policy.
