OSU recognizes Top Ten Freshman Men and Women

The selection of students as Top Ten Freshman Men and Women, all of whom are now in their sophomore year, is based upon scholarship, community service, campus involvement and outstanding leadership from their freshman year.

Each fall, Omicron Delta Kappa chooses the Top Ten Freshman Men and Mortar Board is responsible for choosing the Top Ten Freshman Women. The students were formally recognized, along with their families, during a ceremony on Sept. 16 in the Willard Living Room, and later in the day at the OSU football game against Florida Atlantic.

Top Ten Freshman Women 2005-06: Jennica Kinney, Mooreland; Myriah Johnson, Perry; Jolie Britt, Oklahoma City; Melissa Stith, Oklahoma City; Lindsay Rother, Lawton; Cassie Bacon, Prairie Grove, Arkansas; Kelli Piguet, Vinita; Laura Helberg, Tulsa; JimiKaye Beck, Broken Arrow; Chelsea Hummel, Waynoka.

Top Ten Freshman Men 2005-06: Nathan Thompson, Davenport; Lucas Elwell, Yukon; Travis Schnaithman, Garber; Kyle Ensley, Valliant; Asher Griffin, Edmond; Travis Wolff, Yale; Austin Horn, Yukon; Jered Davidson, Fort Cobb; Evan Schwenk, Stillwater; David Eyster, Ponca City.
