Oklahoma State University sophomore Travis Schnaithman of Garber and OSU freshman
Laila Hajji of Guthrie met with U.S. Congressman and OSU graduate Frank Lucas in his
Washington, D.C. office last month while attending the FFA State President’s Conference.
Travis, an agribusiness major, and Laila, an agricultural communications major, spoke
with Congressman Lucas, a subcommittee chairman of the House Agriculture Committee,
about the future of agriculture and the upcoming renewal of federal farm bill legislation.
