Regents Approve OSU Personnel Actions

The Oklahoma State University/A&M Board of Regents approved several personnel actions during its Sept. 15 meeting on the OSU campus in Stillwater.
APPOINTMENTS: Kellie K. Raper, assistant professor, agricultural economics; Deborah C. Jaworski, assistant professor, entomology and plant pathology; Martin A. Fischer, professor, action grants tenure, communication sciences and disorders; Carol A. Mason, English, associate professor; Anantharum Raghuram and Mathias Schulze, assistant professors, mathematics; Igor Karaca, Zarina Melik-Stepanova and Donald B. Snow, assistant professors, music; Edward L. Burkley III, Melissa Burkley and LaRicka R. Wingate, assistant professors, psychology; Michael J. Stern, assistant professor, sociology; Jessica M. Maerz, assistant professor, theatre; Ali Nejadmalayeri, assistant professor, finance; Federico Aime, assistant professor, management; David C. Barney, associate professor, applied health and educational psychology; John W. Lowery, associate professor, educational studies; David L. Buckner, Jennifer Sanders and Juliana G. Utley, assistant professors, teaching and curriculum leadership; Jeffrey M. Hawkins, associate professor, teaching and curriculum leadership; Heather D. CHANGES IN TITLE: Kevin G. Moore, from manager, proposal services, to director, CEAT student services; David M. Smith, from associate head coach, men’s track and cross country, to head coach, cross country; Michelle H. Wikle, from coordinator, A&S Career Services, to director, student orientation and enrollment, enrollment management.
RETIREMENTS: Alexander Filonow, entomology and plant pathology, Jan 2, 2007; David K. Lewis, natural resource ecology and management, Sept.6; John W. Cartinhour Jr., engineering technology, Jan. 2, 2007.
For OSU-Tulsa, the appointment of Melvin Murdock as director/chief of campus police was approved.
For OSU-Oklahoma City, appointments were approved for Jacqueline C. Balcewicz, instructor and head, general studies; Jacqueline Hill, Cyndi Namdar-Yeganeh and Barbara S. Weis, instructors, nurse science. A change in title was approved for Ann Nancy A. Lowrance, from instructor to instructor and head, public safety.
For the OSU Center for Health Sciences, a change in title was approved for Ray Cordry Jr., from assistant professor and interim chair to assistant professor and chair, psychiatry and behavioral sciences.
