Veterinary Center Pet Care Seminar: Emerging Infectious Health Concerns

STILLWATER, Okla.—On Tuesday, Oct. 3, Dr. Jill Brunker, Small Animal Internist, will
discuss emerging infectious health concerns for pet owners during the Center for Veterinary
Health Sciences’ monthly Pet Care Seminar.
Dr. Brunker will discuss health risks such as leptosporosis, cytauxzoonosis, and influenza.
These emerging infectious diseases are very serious and some could be fatal if left
untreated. Dr. Brunker will present an overview including how you can minimize your
pet’s exposure. A question and answer period will follow her presentation.
Pet Care Seminars are open to the public and held in McElroy Hall Auditorium beginning
at 7 p.m. Admission and light refreshments are complimentary. McElroy Hall is located
at the corner of McFarland and Farm Road on OSU’s Stillwater campus. For more information
