Campbell named OSU registrar

Dr. K. Celeste Campbell has been appointed to the position of university registrar at Oklahoma State University. The appointment is the result of a national search and is pending approval by the OSU/A&M Board of Regents at its Sept. 14 meeting.

Campbell, who joined the OSU staff in 1990, received her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, M.S. in Applied Mathematics, and B.A. in Mathematics from OSU.

“The position of registrar requires an individual with energy and vision who can provide a high level of leadership,” said Albert N. Colom, vice president for enrollment management. “Dr. Campbell is a professional of high integrity who, with her administrative experience and over 15 years of teaching, brings a unique blend of skills to the position. She will enhance the level of commitment to exceptional service to students, faculty and staff. I am very pleased Dr. Campbell will be joining our leadership team.”

At OSU, Campbell has served as director of the Bureau for Social Research, assistant director of the Honors College, and manager of course development and marketing in independent and correspondence study. She also has worked as a high school teacher.
