OSU grad student racing for championship in Topeka
Monday, October 1, 2007

Driving for Kev Master Racing, Yap was the only rookie from the state to qualify for the Topeka event, which is part of the National Championships. Coached by Robert Seelig, Yap was in the ultra-competitive H-Stock class where many previous national champions got their start since it is an affordable gateway to competitive racing due to the low cost of cars involved and the limitations on allowed upgrades.
Yap, a native of Brisbane, Australia, got his marketing degree at OSU and is now working on his master’s in business administration. Whiteline Automotive, Global Performance Services, Raptor Racing and Polymer Dynamics Inc sponsor him.
