OSU hopes to jumpstart cessation during Great American Smokeout
Friday, November 9, 2007

Oklahoma State University will observe the 31st annual Great American Smokeout on Thursday, Nov. 14. The Smokeout is sponsored by the American Cancer Society and encourages smokers to quit for the day and hopefully a lifetime. OSU’s decision to go tobacco-free on July 1, 2008, as part of efforts to become the healthiest campus in America has prompted the Seretean Wellness Center to expand cessation assistance to students, faculty and staff.
