OSU-Oklahoma City to honor graduates

(OKLAHOMA CITY) – OSU-Oklahoma City will graduate its largest class of students at its 44th Annual Commencement Ceremony on Monday, May 14, at the Cox Convention Center.  The program begins at 7:30 p.m.

Cheryl Hunter, member of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, will deliver the keynote address to the more than 500 graduates who will be recognized this year.  Hunter is a partner in the law firm of Kirk & Chaney in Oklahoma City.  She graduated from OSU with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and received her juris doctorate from the University of Oklahoma.  Hunter has served as the Oklahoma Indigent Defense System Board chairman, as an Oklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation commissioner and as a Governor's Commission on Government Performance member in 1994 and 1995.

OSU-OKC offers more than 40 associate degree and certificate programs providing students with the education and training needed to enter the workforce or continue their educational pursuits.
