Veterinary Center commencement and hooding ceremonies announced

The Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Sciences will participate in the Oklahoma State University all-campus commencement on Saturday, May 5. Following the university ceremony, a private hooding ceremony will be held in Gallagher-Iba Arena for graduates of the College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Betty Self, Class of 1957, will be here to celebrate the 50th reunion of her class graduation. She is the second woman to graduate from the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine. The first was Dr. June Iben in 1955.

Seven of the 67 students in the Class of 2007 will have a special person placing their hood during the ceremony.
