OSU mourns death of student

Oklahoma State University is mourning the loss of Ashleigh Hagerman, a freshman in
electrical engineering from Sweetwater, Okla., who died overnight at her residence
in Drummond Hall of natural causes believed to be related to an ongoing health condition.
“OSU is deeply saddened by Ashleigh’s death,” said OSU Interim President Marlene Strathe.
“We extend our thoughts and prayers to her family and friends during this difficult
time. This is a terrible loss for the entire OSU community. We are assisting Ashleigh’s
family and friends in any way we can.”
University Counseling Services is on site to assist students in Drummond Hall and
is available to all students who may need help in dealing with this loss, or any concern.
Residential Life personnel also are helping students in Drummond. University Counseling
