(May 16, 2008 Stillwater, OK) - OSU President Burns Hargis rode his bicycle to work
on Friday, May 16th to participate in national Bike-to-Work Day. As part of a campus-wide
initiative, OSU encouraged students, faculty and staff to ride their bikes to work
in order to promote fitness as well as help the environment. Three meeting sites were
available for anyone wanting to ride with a group and refreshments were offered at
Stillwater Medical Center. Also, registrants were eligible to win a free bike from
Cooper Bicycle Center and the first 100 received a free T-shirt.
