Independent teams representing Oklahoma State University’s School of Mechanical and
Aerospace Engineering placed first and third in the annual AIAA Student Design/Build/Fly
Competition in Wichita, Kansas. Sponsored by the American Institute of Aeronautics
and Astronautics, Cessna Aircraft Co. and Raytheon Missile Systems, this year’s contest
at Cessna’s airfield featured 60 university teams from North America and Europe.
