The Psychology Club members volunteered at CROP Hunger Walk, where they raised $707.17; donated $75 for Walk for Life; assisted in the community during the recent Into the Streets; help with Bingo at a retirement home; and plan to donate to Angel Tree.

“Volunteering means helping out your community to improve it and that is what we are doing,” Said Ashleigh Vogle of the Psychology Club.

The OSU Service-Learning Volunteer Center, located in 030B Student Union, promotes the interaction of volunteer work and education. Last year, more than 8,500 OSU students volunteered more than 60,000 hours in the community. Each week the center will present a Servant Leadership Award to an outstanding OSU student volunteer.
