Regents approve 2009 budget for OSU

The Oklahoma State University/A&M Board of Regents approved the 2009 operating budget for Oklahoma State University and its branch campuses today at its regular meeting in Oklahoma City. OSU’s $938.5 million system-wide budget is up 4.27 percent from a year ago and will be effective July 1.
The 2009 budget includes a 4 percent faculty raise and a 3 percent raise for staff and a 9.9 percent increase in tuition and mandatory fees. The budget goes to the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education for final approval.
