Student telemarketing group raises more than half a million dollars for OSU
“These women have made a tremendous impact on their university and fellow students,” said Debbie Nance, director of annual giving programs. “Their love for OSU is evident in every call and I believe this, along with their positive attitudes, has helped them be so successful.”
Stubbs, a native of Muskogee, Okla., led the group raising $44,250. The junior dietetics major has been a Cowboy Caller for two semesters.
“I joined this program because I loved the idea of talking to alumni and helping them stay involved in current students’ lives,” Stubbs said. “It’s enjoyable hearing [them] reminisce about their times at OSU; their stories are always so entertaining!”
Raising $28,508, Rudd grossed the second highest amount of all Cowboy Callers. The Tulsa native is a junior elementary education major and has been a Cowboy Caller since 2007.
Durant native, Brown, has served as a Cowboy Caller since January 2007. The sophomore hotel and restaurant administration major raised $23,451.
“Our calling program continues to gain in its competitiveness, and we will be adding
additional positions in the future,” said Heather Briggs, annual giving coordinator.
“We want to be OSU students’ preferred place to work.”
