(May 21, 2009   Stillwater, OK) – Business and government professionals will have the opportunity to improve their leadership skills at the Executive Education Partnership Program scheduled for July 26-30 on the Oklahoma State University campus at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center.

Executives who attend the Partnership Program can improve their decision-making abilities, exchange ideas and interact with professionals in a variety of fields.  Session topics include strategy, ethics, marketing, coaching, leadership, emotional intelligence, economics, mentoring and a business simulation.

“During turbulent business climates, a program like the Partnership Program can help participants stand out as valued contributors in their current and future job positions,” said Lee Manzer, OSU Spears School of Business professor of marketing and coordinator of the program.

In its 15th year, the Executive Education Partnership Program is a collaboration of Oklahoma State University, the University of Oklahoma and an Advisory Board consisting of representatives from 12 major state corporations and organizations.  The program curriculum is adjusted annually based on input from the Advisory Board. This business/academic partnership allows bridges to be built between the educational and business communities.

The program is presented by outstanding faculty, all of whom are widely acknowledged as experts in their respective fields.  Lee Manzer and Dan Ostas, senior faculty from OSU and OU respectively, serve as on-site hosts, assuring continuity and opportunities for one-on-one consultation with participants.
“The Partnership Program is an exciting, intense week for the participants, providing them with the opportunity to learn skills that will help them and their organizations gain a competitive edge,” said Vickie Karns, OSU Center for Executive and Professional Development program manager.

The $3,850 registration fee includes tuition, most meals and all program materials. The deadline for registration is June 12, 2009.  To register or for more information, call the OSU Center for Executive and Professional Development 866-678-3933; or visit cepd.okstate.edu.
