Tuesday, February 24, 2009
February 24, 2009 Stillwater, OK) - Members of the OSU Community are invited to an open house for the new North Classroom Building scheduled for Wednesday, February 25th, from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m.
This state-of-the-art facility, located on the corner of Monroe and Hall of Fame, features two 125-seat auditoriums and 14 smaller classrooms, with capacities between 36-48 seats.
The Success Center, located on the first floor, has already become a favorite study area for our students. Faculty are encouraged to walk through the center and visit with Ms. Karen Clement, the building manager, about how study areas can be reserved for study sessions with their students.
During the open house, Roots, the café operated by University Dining Services, will have samples of several of their organic beverages and sandwiches available, as well as other light refreshments. Roots is open daily, from 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., and features a variety of organic items served in ecofriendly and recyclable products to the extent possible.
I look forward to seeing you Wednesday afternoon, February 25th, between 4:00 and 5:30 p.m. Best wishes for a successful semester.
